Outline:
To build a professional looking web site that will have 2 sides to it:
One side will be for the public viewing that will show the benefits of the product, explaining why it is important that they have the product with a strong emphasis to the safety aspect.
Will need a shopping cart running on DB that will allow quantity discounts and special offer codes
Estimated to be no more than 10 pages
The Second side will be for the trade only, the user will need to register to access this side of the site with an auto registration function, this side of the site will be more basic with scaled down information as the trade will know what the product is

The control panel for the backend needs to be able to collect as much data as possible and be able to provide the customer with information such as order updates shipping, delivery tracking, lost passwords etc as well as keep a stock inventory
The control panel must be easy to use and be integrated to a ios mobile app to send notifications of new orders, new registrations delivery tracking, notifications etc.
The payment gateway will be PayPal
The Product:
The “EasyCleat” is a safety product for the installation of window blinds, its purpose is to secure operating cords away from children, there is a legal requirement to fit safety devices to blinds in the UK and Europe
All blinds should be supplied with child safety products, the standard cleats that are currently available on the market are fixed to the window be means of 2 screws they work perfectly will and are fit for purpose, the problem with them is that customers do not like screws being fitted to their windows, especially if they are new windows. Also a lot of window suppliers are saying that if they drill into the windows it will invalidate the warranty on the windows. The window blind installers have to fit them by law and this is causing a big problem, the Easy Cleat overcomes this problem with no drilling or screwing needed. The Easy Cleat has a larger base that is simply stuck onto the window using very high strength adhesive pad (a 3M product) the Easy Cleat is made from clear polycarbonate and the adhesive pad is also clear so it will be discreet and blend with all window colours
The site needs to be fully responsive from wide screen desktop to the smallest mobile
