We have a standard Excel spreadsheet that we use to track completed events and we would like to use on an iPad. We would like to have a 'front page' or Control panel that summarises the progress for each project.
Eventually we would like it to be available to various parties to allow them to submit documentation and monitor the progress of their project.
We need a way to track multiple projects. Each project involves the design and building of a new shop. We manage the process and make sure that the tenant and their design do certain things, with Milestone Meetings along the way. This app is initially just for me to track each project.
1) In the first instance I will be the only user. Eventually I would like to have it shared by another person in the office.
Longer term, I would like to have it so our client can login and see the status of each project. Longer term it would be possible for many people to login and upload information and then, if authorised approve the information so the project progresses.
2) I have had a very preliminary go at graphics. It just needs to be very simple (but elegant...)
3) There aren't yet many features required. Simply there is a sheet for each project that tracks a linear progression of tasks. Once they are completed, the date of value is recorded, the cell goes green and the next task is highlighted as active (or red if it is a hold point) At this stage the selection of colours can be manually done. Longer term others may need to login and have various levels of authorisation.
4) The file I uploaded initialy is the exact list of task we need to track. Ideally there would be some flexibility and thes could be custiomised over time. The document I have just uploaded now shows the Summary page and then an example of a Project Sheet. Ideally, when you add a project it autonmatically adds itself to the summary (they are broken doen into locations)
5) Not sure what screen flow looks like... I think we really juct need to be able to navigate to and from the home page to each project
