Icon range #1 Shows a graphic for students where there is no photo. An anonymous face. Genders are required Male/Female/Unknown. Unknown should be an androgynous head - gender not known. Two formats of each portrait are required, one as a straight portrait without a face (more a portrait outline) , and one with a question mark over the Portrait to show we don't have a photo of this person. Students age High School, so not too adult, or too child, about 12yrs-17yrs roughly, features very basic - subtle and not distracting. Design solely to show: A) There's no photo for this student B) Gender of the student if known Graphics to be eventually provided in BMP format, in three sizes. a 48x48 Icon, 200x200 and a larger size perhaps 500Kb or so each - just large in case we want to use elsewhere later - not worried about actual size of the large. The primary focus is the two smaller sizes Graphic should be in colour, using subtle tones - not too bright or distracting, and ideally race non-specific, but this is not a big issue. Icon range #2 SIMPLE Icons for parent teacher interviews. A) An Icon of a teacher B) An Icon of a parent C) An Icon of a student D) An Icon of a parent teacher interview, containing a Parent and Teacher discussing together. E) As above but with a student, so Teacher, Desk, and then Parent with student. Very basic elements, and no face detail, just portraits or near outlines of the individuals, enough detail to understand their 'role', but not to distract. Icon range #3 Roll call icons A) School bus icon - very basic. To indicate away on an excursion B) School bus icon but with a green exclamation mark on the top to show should be on excursion but is here! C) Small clock icon to indicate late D) Green tick to show present E) Red cross to show absent F) Green tick with a slash through it to show partially present (Late or left early) - or any other suggestion to simply indicate 'not quite' present!
