Brief about the portal:
This portal will showcase all available Apple products. It will enable consumers to browse through the products across Mac, iPhones, Watches and Accessories and view their prices. Consumers can request for the products by adding them to their cart and submitting the request.
Portal Users:
1. Admin
2. Reseller
3. Consumer
Admin functionalities:
• Add/edit/delete reseller users (Name, Company name, Email ID, Mobile No.)
• Product Management
o Upload product catalogue in CSV file format – (Name, SKU No. Brief description, Detailed description, multiple images, Actual price, discounted price (if any), quantity (to be displayed only to admin and reseller)
o CSV Template to remain same
o Can update product details individually as well
• No functionality for product promotion management required
• Homepage management – Update text and imagery
• Support/Contact page management
• Reports
Reseller functionality
• Order management – Default order status would be pending. Reseller can change status of the received order to Cancelled/Shipped
• Confirmation is required before changing the order status. Once changed, it cannot be updated.
• Reseller has to provide the following details upon changing the status
a. Cancelled – Why the order was cancelled
b. Shipped – Consignment No, Courier Company and Expected delivery date
• Automated email goes to the user based on the status selected by the reseller.
• Once the status is changed to cancelled, product quantity is added by 1.
Consumer functionality
• User can register or place order as a guest.
• User profile fields: Salutation, name, Address, Tel., Email ID, Billing details if different from user details
• Browse and add products to the cart. Standard sort and filter functionality to be implemented.
• Payment mode: Only COD
• Once the order is placed, product quantity is reduced by 1
