Fix Software

I had a worker develop some custom software for me and he is no longer on freelancer to make updates and changes. The software is intended to merge data from excel spreadsheets by comparing phone numbers, email addresses and mailing addresses.

I have discovered the following glitch:

PHONE NUMBER DASHES:

When the software imports new leads and checks them for existing duplicate phone numbers, it is supposed to remove the dashes, parenthasis and other symbols from the phone numbers. Then add dashes back in to the imported leads in this format: 000-000-0000.

When we receive a new leads list, it can contain hundreds of leads and many times the phone numbers are all formatted differently, some contain parenthasis such as (000) 000-0000 or have no symbols such as 0000000000. The software must remove all symbols, spaces, etc. in order to compare duplicate phone numbers effectively. Then, in order to search the database more quickly, we must have the dashes put back in the appropriate places.

Currently the software is not performing this function. I have attached the source code for the software. Please review it and let me know if you can fix this error.
