I need a system that is designed specifically for me to maintain my advertisers.
I am going to explain it in steps, please post questions if needed. The sooner the better for this to be finished, as I am completely unorganized, and need this! But please give a close estimate of time for this to be completed. The URGENCY is only to choose the programmer for this within the 2 days, writing the script can take longer if needed.
This would be written in php and use a MySQL database, a simple ReadMe would need to be included, and I will install it on my server. No design work is necessary.
In summary: I want to be able to come into this system, add details for my advertisers listings (i.e. name, email, start day, end day, ad listing, image URL, and comments), and know when their time is to be listed. For instance, if I come to the system on the 15th, I want something there to show exactly what ads are expiring, and which ads are to be listed by me for that day. This is NOT a directory or ay thing like that, ONLY an organizational tool for myself. I will manually add the ad listings in, I only need to know when they are ready to be added/taken down, and the ad listing details.
Detailed Description:
This would be a password protected script (admin protected) and once logged in, there would be the following:
1. An area for clicking to access 12 "calendars".
When I first click on the 12 calendars link, it would take me to a display of 12 monthly calendars, or a list of the months to be able to click on, to view the month listings.
2. An area to view the names of my websites.
This would be an area that I can add/edit/delete MAIN categories (website names). Clicking on the name of the website, would take me to another page (subcategories) where I can add/edit/delete subcategories for each main category. For instance things like Home Page, Business Page, and Stories.
When I click on a SUBCATEGORY, it will display the ad listings that are CURRENT or not yet expired with the listing name and the start/expire date. I would then click on any one of those ad listings names and it would display the FULL DETAILs, which would be the listing name, advertiser's name, email, start day, end day, ad listing, image URL, and comments.
3. A "Today's listings" box. This will tell me right away the ad listings that will need to be added or taken down for that day.
4. A "Weekly Listing's" Box. This will show what ads will expire/are to be added for the week, a general preview, can have something like a check mark on the day that there are listings to be added/taken down.
5. An area for "subscribers": I have many advertisers that choose subscriptions via paypal, so they will need to NOT have an end date specified, however, I still need to know the start day. I would like a seperate area to view these particular advertisers. I want to ONLY have active subscriptions in this area, so once I receive notification that they cancel their subscription, I want to be able to MOVE them into an archive area either by clicking a radio button or something to move it.
6. An area for "Archives". These will be displayed newest FIRST. These are the archives of EXPIRED ad listings. Meaning that only the ones where the end date has surpassed, OR, where the subscription is no longer active. I want the option to be able to make them REACTIVE if possible as well in case they re-list the same ad.
7. Add Listing: Each time an advertiser has paid me, I will MANUALLY add the information in. I will have an area for listing name, advertiser's name, email, start day, end day, ad listing, image URL, and comments. Once added, it will stay listed in the CURRENT area until the ad listing is no longer active (i.e. the end date has passed) and then it will either be manually added to the archive area, or automatically go to the archive area.
I will need a way of highlighting or colorizing the listing to let myself know that it has been added if it is sitting in the current area. This way I will know that it has been added. Maybe a check mark??
Basically the system needs to somehow flag the dates. Because my MAIN concern is starting these listings at the correct time and ending them at the correct time.
