We require a .NET Developer C#, ASP.NET, MVC 3, Agile - My client is looking for a .NET Developer for a project based in London.
We are a car rental company and we have been developing a .net application FOR THE LAST 1 YEAR which is a website car rental system with a back end management for our car rental agents to manage the rental of or car fleet.
We are looking for experience in C# and ASP.NET. The company are using a wide range of Microsoft tools and technologies to meet the diverse requirement of their customers. You will be an ASP.NET Developer using C# and MVC 3 with ample experience within a professional software development role.
Purpose
To take over from an exisiting developer and deliver a car rental program of which our the application client has already started, and to help with stand alone business as usual.
Main responsibilities
To contribute to the ongoing development of our websites by providing innovative solutions to complex problems.
To work closely with our in house team.
To ensure that applications are coded, documented, tested and deployed in line with accepted standards.
To work with stakeholders to develop new features based on specifications which may range from a detailed technical document to an outline concept.
Skills required, Definition of skill level:
Professional/technical know how
C# 2.0-4.0 web technologies (MVC, .NET web forms, LINQ, Entity Framework, web services, etc.)
Object Orientated Design and programming including a working knowledge of design patterns
A working knowledge of Front End technologies (HTML, XML, CSS, JS)
SQL Server 2008 R2
A working knowledge of Visual Studio 2010 and source control systems (TFS2010)
A working knowledge of unit testing and test driven development (desirable)
Ability to support third party applications and work within their framework(s) to deliver solutions that satisfy requirements
Education or professional qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or allied subject, or the equivalent on-the-job experience/professional certification
Essential experience required:
Demonstrable track record of successfully developing web applications (including MVC solutions) using best practices
