I'm looking to create an original website.
The website will allow artists (musicians, rappers, singers, producers, etc.) upload their songs and share them. Record labels should be able to sign up as well. Both labels and artists should have a profile which displays their songs, background information, song plays/likes/shares, and their posts (like a Facebook or Myspace post). There should be an option for record labels to contact artists. A social media site where artists and labels can contact each other, make friends, share songs, etc.
There should be a chart with different categories, based on the song genres, where the users can earn points. The higher the ranking, the more points. And it should give the users points daily as long as their songs rank in the charts (e.g. chart position #3 receives 25 points daily, chart position #2 receives 30 points daily, chart position #1 receives 40 points daily). The charts should include different music categories. Every song they upload, every page view, and every share/like should earn the users points.
The points can be exchanged for promotion on the site, purchasing products, or cashout to Paypal. There should be promotion spots on the site that the users can purchase. As for products, there should be cd/mixtape/album art design service, cd cases/discs, label/song promotion.
An original site design is required.
