Project Summary
I need an online database to capture online order. I intent to use PHP and MYSQL. This database can be duplicated a new one whenever a new course starts. More info and updates will be given when project awarded.
Details of Online Database
The database will import data from XLS and CSV files. Database is fill with:
1. Student ID
2. Student Name
3. Course Name
4. Start Date
5. Start Time
6. and some more data
Page 1:
Explanation of online order procedure.
When user input his Student ID number and click SUBMIT
It will retrieve and display …
Page 2: the Student ID, Student Name and Diploma Course. (These 3 details will be on all pages onward)
User will choose: SELF COLLECTION or HOME DELIVERY (Internet banking required)
Click NEXT
IF SELF COLLECTION:
Page 3A: Explanation of Rental and Purchase options.
With prices of RENTAL and PURCHASE options to choose.
Click NEXT
IF HOME DELIVERY:
Page 3B: Explanation of Rental and Purchase options.
With prices of RENTAL and PURCHASE options to choose.
Address field for delivery to fill in.
Click NEXT
Page 4: With the selection of uniform size (button option) with size chart (picture) provided.
Click NEXT
Page 5: Order summary and confirmation of details.
This page offer EDIT and NEXT. EDIT will enable this page to be editable.
Page 6: Terms and Conditions listed here.
User agree by inputing his email address in the email field.
Click AGREE & SUBMIT (For SELF DELIVERY, display AGREE & SUBMIT button)
Click AGREE (For SELF COLLECTION, display AGREE button) and got to Page 6A
IF HOME DELIVERY:
Page 6A will have link for payment options. When Click, it will pop up another window to the respective banks login page.
This page will have an input field for user to enter reference number.
Click NEXT
If reference number is already recorded, it will display a warning message.
Page 7: Thank you page
System will generate email confirmation to user and attached a PDF of the order form.
This PDF order form has a specific layout requirement.
If same Student ID use again, it will prompt order has been made. Request user to check email for order confirmation or contact us.
This database form will be embedded on a website.
Barcode Required.
The order confirmation will be emailed to user in PDF.
In this PDF, I need to have 2 barcodes. One with details of Student ID, Student Name and Course Name. The other one, Student ID, Student Name, Course Name and Uniform Size.
Reports:
Extract data to see daily/weekly/monthly order
Filter Rental/Purchase/Payment
Reports can be auto generated and forward to multiple email addresses. Email address changeable by user.
