The ultimate solution would be a solderless device to allow backup to run. There is few ways we should explore to find the best solution. First, since there is a chip that is almost released, the easiest way would be to developpe a solderless version of this chip. But this will depend on the location of the solderless point, because sometime the configuration of the motherboard doesn't allow any adapter to do a perfect contact, to have a reliable and stable solution. The other solution would be a SwapMagic alike disc. An original GC homebrew disc that would have the original boot strap code of the GC, and that would stop after few second, to allow the swap. The last option would be to develop a complex device that would be able to store backup on an harddrive. The device can be connected to the gc lens port, or on the network port, or any place that doesn't require soldering. In fact, the most important aspect of this project, is to find an solderless solution to run GameCube backup. The solution should not be too expensive to produce, in large quantity, except for a HDD solution, where the user can save few bucks since he doesn't have to buy any recordable media..

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
