Web-based word processor (feasibility study)

I need someone who can discuss the feasibility and requirements for a web based word processor.

**Deliver**

Report on the possibility and the requirements for developing such web based word-processor. Document the possibilities and limitations, as well as the required knowledge skills on the different platforms needed.

The questions I need answers to:

1. Is it possible to create (or does it already exist) a web based application with the high-level typographic and text features of QuarkXpress or Adode InDesign? I.e. a word-processor that can handle typographic conventions ans features such as these:

* manual kerning and auto-kerning

* letter spacing, word spacing

* auto-control of widows and orphans

* correct text justification

* exact text indentation

* word-breaking and hyphenation algorithms

2. What technology could (or should) be used?

3. Approximately how complex would this project be?

4. Important technological and other factors to consider? Possible alternatives? (Whould it be better to develop a desktop application?)
