We currently have a need for a piece of software that will do two things, from a database (access to start with sql later) get a url from the table, and see if it works, if it does then move to the next one, else add the record to a report of failed links and then move on, at the end produce a failed link report. also from a database check a list of email addresses, we have a program ([url removed, login to view]) at the moment that sits and watches outlook and examines the inbox, finds messages, either forwards the email to an email address in the database or move the message to a different folder, this would be used best to also check for returned mail, if it is then work find the failed address from the email and flag the record in the database as being a failed email address. If the email check is done from within our existing program we also want it upgraded to work using long mapi (outlook 2002 etc) as it uses short mapi at the moment and does not work on later versions of outlook other than 2000 Robert
