The web service is meant to facilitate reoccurring meetings between groups of people. It should be based on PHP/MySQL and allow for multiple languages. There should be an administrative tool for editing the pages and keeping track of the different languages.
Basically an user creates a group with meetings on a specific weekday and/or specific dates, and invites his friends to join. When the users log in, they can see how many has replied (are attending) and can reply themselves.
The admin can also choose to keep track of statistics like 'goals scored' or 'penalty minutes'. The admin is the only one being able to edit the statistics.
An admin can also create a league by inviting other groups. The league can keep track of league standings and the league schedule if the admin desires so. Basically a league is group of groups. All messages between groups or to a group goes through the group's admin.
The admin should be able to edit any feature of the group or league and it's members.
Members of a group should be able to:
- see information about the other members
- send messages and e-mails to the others in the same group
- see how many are attending the next meeting, and reply themselves
- see statistics and sort the statistics by clicking the headers
- see the league statistics
There should also be a forum and a place to advertise goods. They should both be searchable. They should be adminstered in an adminstrative tool. That is, we are the only ones that can add forums (users can only add topics and replies) and we are the only ones that can add categories in the advertisements.
We have a general idea about the database structure, but we feel that it is probably best if you create one yourselves, or in conjunction with us.
We would also like wap page that users can report attendans as well. We are more than willing to hear other ideas for features that might be useful.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
