I have this website [url removed, login to view] On every item that a person post I would like a simple chat button which will connect the buyer to the seller. If either of the users are offline. I would like for there to be a message box that is set up This message box will hold a history of conversations.

hello, I can do this using many ways: with a nodejs server, with ajax alone, or with a third party (free) service. All 3 are ok, it depends on what traffic you have and how much are you willing to support it.
