I need to build a static homepage to use with my wordpress theme. I have a mock of what the site should look like, I have the graphics prebuilt, I need help with the coding to create the gridview of blog entries with hover effect. The general layout is in a word doc. the fields required are quite simple. My request would be to build the grid which will pull 6 items from specific categories using the most recent of each category. I am looking to have the proper code to implement the grid on my homepage.
