A Java application that prints to a fixed form (dot matrix printer)

I have a continuous form with fixed fields to be filled by the Epson printer, with data from a MySQL database hosted online, while this application must be installed locally. - I receive the form already printed, and the job is to fill in the blanks

- Must be a dot matrix printer and the one we have is Epson LX-300

The application should go like:

1. User starts the application. It searches the db for new print jobs.

2. Shows all print jobs and let user pick which ones should be printed.

3. Prints to dot matrix printer connected via usb adaptor (comtac usb to parallel conversor used)

4. Updates db with printed jobs and closes application.
