Create a meta search module for an existing website

Hi, we need a special kind of search function for our website, a meta crawler. It should fit into our WordPress website (any way you like) and should do the following:
- user enters a word or a short sentence and clicks "search"
- the software searches 9 different websites in the background, each with their own search forms
- if the search is finished, it shows the results (or lack there-of) in a nice aggregated list on the site
The basic idea is to avoid using product names that are already in use.
