I would like a snippet of code for a website that will do the following:
1) When a viewer clicks on a "Get a Quote" link on our website, that a window will attractively pop into view with a response form on it. It has to be a sharp fade in of the window (something special and attractive maybe with shading and opaques the page behind it), not just a regular pop up window. Also, I want to be able to custom set the pixel width and length of the popup window.
2) I will provide the response form (code) that goes in the html page in the new window, but I want it so that when the viewer fills in the response form, and clicks "send", after that, our resolve page (which says "thanks for your information, we will contact you shortly"), comes up in that same popup window. But then, the entire window now containing the "thank You" notice, will automatically dissolve (or they can click "close window" as an option), and they will end up back at the page they were at when they clicked on "Get a Quote" from at the first. It's important that the popup window goes away by itself after a wait time of 5-10 seconds or so, so that they end up at the page they left and it is no work for them.
I would just need the script code to put on the main page (that pulls up the popup action/window), and then, the code that goes in the popup window that will receive the resolve page first, and then fade the popup window away after a brief display of the thank you message.
Should be easy code for someone with the knowledge. Thank you for your time and interest.
