I have a very clear idea of what I want, I started a fencing league and I need to keep track of the athletes results, I need the site to be linked (easily accessible) from my informational site: [login to view URL]
The database will mimic the structure following example site: [login to view URL]
We need, athlete data, tournament history, ranking, rating, secure login per athlete, (some information can be public, other will be private)
Other possible features can be Blast email, tournament calendar and tournament sign up page.
This database has to be able to be read by other software to pull up the latest athlete information if needed.
I need to have all the work files and the source code delivered at the end
DESCRIPTION
User’s Website –
Registration and Login (Email Verification)
Forget Password (Email Verification)
Unique ID for each user
Profile and its management (Including picture and membership card) both for athletes and/or clubs
Tournament Listing (Participated and Upcoming)
Tournament Searches (With Name, State, City, Region etc.)
Registration in the Tournament’s Events
Ability to pay for the events through Square
Can see the list of participants in an Event
Can see recent and old results of own tournaments
Can see Classification (Foil, Epee and Saber) with the combination or Ranking and Ratings.
Admin Panel –
Manage Users
Manage Tournaments and their Events. Can add Tournaments after selecting the Organizer so that they can go in and upload the results of different events
Manage Organizers
Manage/Upload Results in CSV format
Ability to download the fencers database in CSV
The ability to read the AAU API to verify if their membership is current
Organizers Panel –
Manage/Upload Results in their tournament’s Events
Since this will be a very big website, and userbase will be very high so we need to make it secure enough. Also, it should be more scalable and flexible so that we can add more and more functionalities in the next versions. Keeping those things in mind, we are planning to probably use Java Language for Backend Admin and Angular for Front End (Website)
