Paypal IPN with godaddy hosting

I am a seller on ebay but lately I came up with a website. I got STUCK on IPN from paypal. I cannot test paypal IPN with my godaddy hosting. I was testing it using ipn simulator or sending a form from website, after paying using sandbox acct i am getting redirected to return_url and the data should be sent to some IPN file. Data is sent and I managed to get an email with a data however the most of the script does not work, Fsockopen does not work, it gets SSL error connecting to sandbox.paypal.com. I tried curl but same SSL error.. What I am asking to provide a working IPN script that reads IPN from paypal, validates it if it is true or spoof and then inserts data into mysql table. Just bear in mind that all existing scripts do not work. They need some fine tuning to go through godaddy ssl.
