A website that will allow management to create and assign tasks under one job ID.
As an example, the Entity Types that would have access to this system are:
- Upper Management (Task Creator)
- Middle Management (Task Creator)
- Team 1 - Team Leader (Task Creator)
- Team 2 - Team Leader (Task Creator)
- Team 1 - Team Member (Individual Entity)
- Team 2 - Team Member (Individual Entity)
- Contractor (Individual Entity)
- Other (Individual Entity)
The relationships:
- The Task Creators can have multiple concurrent Job ID's ongoing at any one time.
- A Job ID can have a combination of Task Creators and Individual Entities
- The Job ID would be the common factor between all parties
- Each Job ID can be given a user friendly description
- Each Job ID can have multiple Task running concurrently.
- The Task can be edited by the Task Creator
- Each Task can be assigned to any of the entities by the Task Creator
- Each Task has a Status
- The Status can only be edited by the Task Creator or the Entity that the Task is assigned to
Access:
- The Task Creator Entities would have a Username and Password
- The Individual Entities would have a Job ID and a pin number allocated and only be able to see the tasks assigned to that Job ID
Task Creators dashboard:
- Task Creators can create new Jobs (option to automatically create a Job ID or enter manually [must be unique within the DB])
- Task Creator can give a User Friendly Description of the Job
- Task Creators would have an overall view of all Job IDs currently ongoing (Job ID and User Friendly Description)
- Task Creators can drill down into each job and see all tasks within that Job ID
- Task Creators can add Jobs created by other Task Creators to their Dashboard by combination of Job ID and Pin Number)
- Archived Jobs can be viewed separately by Year and broken down by months
Job Dashboard:
- Task Creators can create a new Pin Number (automatically generated and unique to that Job ID and Entity) and allocate it to the Entity Type (not a persons name)
- Task Creator can create a new task within that Job (character limited text input box) which is automatically assigned to themselves
- When a Job is complete it can be closed/archived
- When a Job is marked as complete, the Job ID and Pin number no longer allows the Individual Entities to access that Job after 30 days
Task Process:
- The Task Creator can assign the task to another Entity
- The Task Creator or Assigned Entity can select the status from a predefined list
- An assigned Individual Entity can only pass the Task back to the Task Creator
- The Task can only be completed by the Task creator and will change colour to signify that it is complete
- Outstanding Tasks will always be at the top in order of newest to oldest
- Completed Tasks will drop off below the outstanding Tasks in order of newest to oldest
Task Statuses:
- to be allocated
- Received
- Gathering information
- Awaiting further information
- Returned partial information
- Returned all
The site should be responsive (mobile, tablet, laptop, resolution friendly)
Site must be responsive to all screen sizes and layouts
