I am looking to find a list of free or inexpensive (under $100, with free trial) software that can keep inventory, and also track supplies. Here's an example of what I need to do with it:
a) enter supplies (for example, 500 bags, 150 toys, 225 balls, 1000 labels, etc), and give alerts when quantity for each goes below X.
b) create products that use a number of these supplies (for example, Gift Bag A would use 1 bag, 1 toy, and 1 label. Gift Bag B would use 1 bag, 2 toys, 1 ball and 1 label. etc).
c) when product are created, the amount of created product is entered, which reduces the appropriate supplies by the appropriate amount.
d) inventory of completed products should also be kept.
e) a search feature for each product, to confirm that enough supplies are available for X product.
This software should either run on a Windows7 machine, or a *nix web server. We would like to avoid hosted services if possible. We would like this list within a few days of awarding the project.
