This is a very interesting project with approach to develop a platform. There are some field devices which communicate over Modbus. We need to develop a Publish Subscribe architecture. Publisher will bridge between the Field devices and the broker, while for Subscriber, we need to develop some infrastructure which can be used by Widgets. Attached is the design doc. Deliverables include design document(atleast the class diagram). High level coding is expected.
