I wanted to have 3 Stored Procedures written:

1. Create Migration scripts - Backup & Restore

We are migrating some SQL Servers and I need a stored procedure which will:

1. Backup databases from source to a disk destination

2. Restore the databases to destination server

3. Populate an Audit table with what was backed up and restored.

Something like...

CREATE proc [usp_DX_RestoreDBs]

@SourceServerName varchar(50)='amazona-6s24rum',

@DestinationServerName varchar(50)='amazona-6s24rum',

@SourceDBName varchar(50)='DXMigration',

@DestinationDBName varchar(50)='DXMigration',

@BackupFilePath varchar(200)='C:\DXMigration\Phase 1\OUT\'

2. Migrate SQL Jobs

3. Migrate LinkedServers
