Find & Fix Email Deliverability Issues

We send out weekly newsletters to a list of about 100,000 names. We have been seeing low open rates and have been testing the email deliverability via an online mail monitor. We are discovering that our newsletters are going into bulk mail at gmail and a few others. The contents of our email is not rated as spam (it receives very very low scores among many testers). We think there are issues with how the domain and mail sending are set up on our server. We would like to fix this asap by doing the following:
-creating correct spf record
-making sure that reverse dns is set up correctly
-possibly set up dkim?
Anything else that will result in better headers in our emails.
We do not have access to our dns directly but can provide you with an admin contact at our dedicated server location who can then make the change.
