The project involves writing a technical document on Infrastructure as a code. We have used Kuberenetes (MiniKube) to deploy a simple pod to pod communication. The project has already been deployed and screenshots will be provided as required.

The advent of Infrastructure as code has paved way for the evolution of fast-paced infrastructure deployment solutions with high availability, scalability, ease of use, cost-effectiveness, and manageability. One of the facilitating technologies is “containers” which allows virtualization of OS where applications can be developed in packages, ensuring its reliable deployment regardless of the environment. Since it is easy to build and ship a huge amount of Containerized applications, managing and adding internetworking capabilities to containers in large scale deployments needs coordination and automation. Therefore, a robust network technology is needed to support these requirements. This paper provides a brief introduction of networking technologies used in the current container ecosystem, explain about Kubernetes with a local deployment example, enumerates business value of adapting container ecosystem and challenges faced in the adaptation of this technology.
