I am building an asset tracking system that uses QR codes in tags to query a database.
the database should be mysql, it needs to work alongside the mysql database in wordpress
the act of scanning a qrcode should trigger a lookup, then an email to the address in the record alerting them that the code has been scanned. along with details about the asset that was scanned
the other part is that there should be the concept of tags moving between owners.. allowing a new owner to request ownership of an asset.
this is rough, I have many of the details worked out, but I wanted to choose a partner for this project first.
