We are a small IT start up and are looking for screen scraping program to be written with a? difference.
Currently we will have a raw data base of? appropriately? 8000 recruiters names in the UK according to, Name, Company name, address, email, phone number and region.
**what we don't have is the website address or the job sector they relate to.**
The data base is currently in CSV format (excel). We simply need the entries added to this in separate? columns according to which sectors the recruitment? agencies? covers. It maybe that a particular? agencies? covers all our job sectors. or only a few or even only one.?
We will then add this to our back end data base at a later date.
There are? approximately 34 job sectors (listed in the next section)
What we need to do is this. Have a progame written which will do the? following?
[url removed, login to view] the web and find the website? which? correspond? to the company ? names or the address. and add the web address to our data base.
2. Using the 32 job sectors as key words,scrap the sites allocate a job sector to each entry in our data base.
3. This will be a one off application at first. There maybe a need to update it yearly as we update our database.
ie we need to know which of our recruiters look after accountancy or engineering or marketing etc.
