This is a very personal project, I recently lost my 16yr old dachshund who has been with me since he was a 3 month old puppy. I really want to be able to 3d print something to always remember him by. This is not for manufacturing but for engineering products with this cilinder: - 3D draw the outside of the cilinder with as many nominal dimensions as possible. - Put the standard DIN912 socket head cap screws in the drawing, these of course do not have to be drawn in 3D. - Also draw the hydraulic connection holes on the cylinder head. Hello I have created two similar models for 3D printing but I encountered an issue with the shell being too thin to print. The resulting STL was uneditable. However, I have many OBJ files from various points in it's creation so we can decide where we need to start from to avoid the issues and have better outcomes. The models were created in Zbrush using 3 pre-existing OBJ's and a bit of basic geometry. I can supply the ZBrush files with all the elements in situ to run the required Boolean operations. That in itself takes less than an hour but the results are problematic for 3D printing. I am looking for someone who can finish the models and make them ready to print.
