Clickbank XML import into CCK

I need a simple PHP script/module to download, parse and import the clickbank XML feed into a Drupal based, CCK based mysql database the feed is here [url removed, login to view] as the DTD suggests its only 1 table, but you need to create a second lookup table to carry the categories and sub-categories (using taxonomy) Script shall run nightly and handle updates, deletes and new records properly. Therefore also add an "active" flag to disable products instead of deleting them I assume there are tons of scripts like that out there I want one - that works and handles errors, timeouts, etc. properly - handles version changes with a good error (be sure to validate against [url removed, login to view] upon completion a little statistic summary shall be sent to an admin and watchdog. same for errors (like new file version) be sure to demonstrate good coding style, have meaningful var and func names, carry all variables in a config section or file (mysql,mailaddress), write comments per function etc...

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
