Excel Formula Horse Racing for Place

This is a very simple job (I think). Im just tinkering with a gambling project for fun. This is the formula I want in an excel spreadsheet:
I want to be able to put a place bet on a horse with any stake e.g. $10. If that horse places, I win. No problems and I keep my betting the base bet of $10 (or any amount). I want to be able to input winning amount for a running profit total. Base bet doesn't increase while winning, stays the same.
Most importantly, when a horse loses, i.e. lose $10, I want my next bet to recoup that $10 loss to get me back to even only. The formula should work out how much I need to bet to get back my $10 stake Formula also has to account for multiple losses in a row, that could be two losses up to 10 losses, CUMULATIVELY calculating each loss to recoup ALL previous losses The spreadsheet should also show accumulated winnings , i.e. I should be able to input the dividend from a winning dividend for a running total of my bank.
In summary this means at the beginning of the worksheet, I should be able to have a cell with a starting bank that updates bank after wins i.e. I input dividend depending on stake and calculates next bet IF loses to recoup stake. Hope this makes sense. I may be complicating this too much but I wanted to include as much detail to make sure of my expectations. Could I please have an estimate of how many hours this will take?
