Script to test how much users can see video from my server

I stream a m3u8 and rtmp link from my server so i want to see how much user the server can handle at same time . (im monitoring ram, cpu with itop command and bandwidth with nload command.)

I tried to test opening lot of connection in ssh but no success

cvlc [login to view URL] & cvlc [login to view URL] & cvlc [login to view URL]

so i think it is not working like this , i also tried

rtmpdump -r rtmp://[login to view URL] & rtmpdump -r rtmp://[login to view URL] &

i read somewhere that i need a php script and then to run in ssh this command

php [login to view URL] [login to view URL] 1000 10000

Ill chose 10$ bid and person that can make it right now- i dont have time coz im testing my server now before going online
