My ultimate objective is to learn how to embed a video with play/stop buttons in a PDF so I can do it for myself. I have been trying to do this for a long time with no success. Adobe still has the option to embed what they call 'Rich Media' as in audio or video even after stopping support for Flash with which it was very easy to do and always worked. With Flash support withdrawn from PDF we are probably left with Javascript as a way to control the video.
