The model developed will have features such as: • Capable of streaming media files, particularly, live TV channels, via multicast UDP to STBs. • Have means to ensure media delivery is immediate and accurate. • Provision for testing whether the STBs can receive and properly display the transmitted media. Ideal skills required: • Expertise in UDP multicast. • Proficiency in QAM. • Knowledge of media streaming technology is also essential. • Experience in Set Top Boxes (STBs) functionality and working principles.
