Hi guys, iMingle is an app on Facebook for virtual parties. It is based on Flash/AS3 and HTML/JS. You can check it at: Few months ago, google deprecated their youtube AS3 API, so the flash-based embedded youtube screen in our app stopped working. We want to do some minimal work in order to fix this problem, and maybe later fix more things in the app after a long time that we didn't touch it. Our idea is to use an HTML-based youtube player on top of the flash app. The flash app will activate it by doing calls through JS. Hi there! Need help with developing some functions of an app that we have created in Adobe Animate & AS3. Specifically, help with sending large (50 meg + ) files from a server to a client over a socket connection (local network only). If that goes well, need help creating some additional code that can handle some of the files that were sent (installing a new .air file using AppleScript, etc.) will need to discuss options when we get to that point. For now...just need an expert in AS3 who has done some local area networking using sockets!
I need a Flash design in Action Script 3.0 very similar to the contacts calendar of a smartphone. They are two screens. On the first screen I need to appear about five or six contacts with a scroll and a button to add more contacts. Then when I click on that button, I pull the screen number two where I can enter the contact data to add (name, surname, mail, etc.) and pull them to an XML database of a web that I have already. Later that added contact should appear in the list of contacts on the first page. As it is urgent (I must deliver it in 36hs), I need it to be very simple and simple, without so much aesthetic, but that is functional.

I'm creating a custom pod for Adobe Connect, using the Adobe Connect SDK. I have the majority of the code built, but I'm very new to AS3, and don't understand a lot of the errors. This is a simple drag/drop game. Users will drag an item, and there are no defined targets, as the background is mapped out for them. I have the code to connect the drag/drop game to the Adobe Connect room. That's fine, that works. The bit I need help with, is including the SyncConnector function in to the code that will then allow only the host to work with it.
