I have a simple project that is working well as a foreground task. It needs to be adapted to run in the background to save energy. The app makes a classic Bluetooth serial connection, reads some data from the Bluetooth device, then uses HTTP to post it to an online service. Then it goes to sleep for ten minutes before repeating the process. The app should be able to run continuously in the background with no user intervention. It is written in B4A.
