The shift of power balance after the Iranian nuclear deal. Since the American leadership started to negotiate and work together with the Iranian government, many voices in the region of Middle East and North Africa were opposing the nuclear framework between the two countries. While Iran is considered one of the major players in the MENA region in addition to its rivalry with the other main countries in the region such as Saudi Arabia and Israel; those countries made big effort trying to stop this deal as they see it will expand the Iranian danger on these countries and their allies in the Middle east according to their claims. After announcing the framework with the United States and the economic blockade on Iran was abolished automatically. On both long and short terms; Tehran’s potency would enormously expand especially with their control on four Arabic countries (Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq) in addition to the danger it would represent to Israel and their claims about Israel national security. This new equation in the MENA politics would lead to a big shift in power balance on this region as a whole where the U.S is having varied interests with different allies where tension is controlling the situation. In my paper I will discuss this shift of power balance in MENA region before and after the nuclear deal and how it will affect from one hand on the major countries relation in between and on the other hand their relation with the United States.
