I do this: 1. Navigate with webbrowser control to a website 2. Click on a button on webbrowser, file download popup appears you can choose Open, Save, Cancel I need this: 1. Navigate with webbrowser control to a website 2. Click on a button on webbrowser, file downloads silently, hidden (No Popup, No File Download dialog) I heard you can do this with IDownloadManager.

I can do this easily. In fact, I can do it a more efficient way than what you are asking. A WebBrowser control is bulky an very inefficient because it needs to load the entire website just to click a button. What you are asking can easily be done with WebRequests, which just send requests to the server in a fraction of the time it takes for a WebBrowser. Downloading with WebRequests is also something I can do easily.
