C++ Windows with Socket programming

I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 15 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 5 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on client side, the language is c++ under windows. It requires to know the protocols used between client & server. We need to identify the protocols, port numbers. I have already developed network adaptation layer in IP TV product using networking & socket programming in C/C++. I have already developed client & server applications in Linux. We need to use win socket interfaces and multi process environment. I also need the details of component which you have already developed. Meanwhile I will download and install urbackup software as you have mentioned here.
