From logical point of view following shall be the milestones: 1. Specification requirement document. 2. Schematics using Altium 3. Simulation of code and electronics (Where ever possible) 4. Software delivery. But my this BID is for Part 01 i.e specification requirement document ; or you can say its a feasibility and once it's done then rest of the things should be considered. Specification requirement shall cover the following: 1. You all requirements in detail 2. Feasibility of each individual requirement 3. How each requirement can be full-filled 4. Keeping the money constraint as you mentioned. 5. System block level diagram. Great references and overview of the project. I've read them. But what you are asking for here is really quite complex. It takes researched experience to create an effective system; practical, cheap, low power, meets customer needs, etc. I'm sure competitive systems have a great deal of developed knowledge you cannot get from the web. You will have to rediscover the important parts. You want a technical business partner in this for the long term. Your customers will need after-sale support so you need someone who can analyze situations and provide ready answers for specific issues that arise. Otherwise, you lose customers and reputation. If a consultant, someone in the US and someone with a long track record of supporting clients. Business partner would be better. I've been a consultant since 1985 and supported products with decades of market experience. I can refer to them to ask about their experiences with me. Also, feel free to write me and talk anytime. I enjoy helping others think about such things, even if I'm not engaged in the project. I may be able to offer a thought or two. My bid is mostly so I could say the above to you. The project IS interesting. It will involve some intriguing closed loop control as well as significant design work. But I don't think this freelancer thing is the right format for a successful partnership. I think we'd need to talk quite a bit more before I'd know enough and before you'd have confidence in my skills.
