I am looking to prototype a simple watch for kids that can get push notifications that vibrate and ping. The concept is to have 50 customization alarms that parents can set to alert the child to maintain their schedule. It will also have the ability to receive push notification from a smartphone, tablet or button from a parent or teacher to alert the child to look their way. It's intended to be used to guide the child to pay attention in class, etc. I know a smartwatch can be adopted to that purpose, but it will have alot of apps that can distract a child in class. So a simple watch with a clock face is better suited. My idea is to incoporate a simple digital watch with a bluetooth and or wifi connection and a vibration module and tone alert options. and make the watch visibly appealing so kids will want to wear it.
