Digital electronics plays an important role in field of embedded systems design and as i have worked as development engineer i know the importance subject from application as well as theoretical point of view. Also i have recently worked with Verilog programming and most of the implementation in Verilog is based on combinational and sequential circuits electronics so i am pretty well versed with concepts related to combinational circuits (like adders, mux-dmux, parity generator detector etc), sequential circuits (like counters, FSM, shift registers etc.) in Digital Electronics. I used software's like Multisim, Proteus for testing digital logic.
