I am looking to develop a light guide panel that evenly and CLEARLY illuminates a small LCD underneath. The panel may be made out of acrylic and should be about 1.0-1.5mm thick, nearly 100% clear and work via smd LEDs of 3V. Product will be produced by a manufacturer in china. See the pic for a better understading. This panel is not clear enough.

The design of the panel is not the issue. You should be able to make the panel clearer by rubbing some cooking oil on it. This is not a production solution, just a test to show you that I understand the physics of what makes the window cloudy. If you do this test and the window becomes more clear I can give you several alternatives that will help clear the window in production.
