I'm looking for a simple circuit with a bluetooth LE module connected to a stepper motor so that it can be controlled by my smartphone. The whole circuit should be as small as possible. The stepper motor I'm looking at is something small like this: [login to view URL] I'll handle the coding for phone and microcontroller, but looking for someone who can design an energy efficient circuit that connects BLE module to stepper motor (via ATTINY or some equally cheap programmable microcontroller). This thing will be battery powered - ideally a button battery so power conservation is important. I've seen some pretty straightforward circuits online for ATTINY and Stepper, or ATTINY and Bluetooth LE but found nothing specific for all 3. Looking forward to hearing from you.

HI ! I think I have the better solution for you. THere is a chip from CSR named CSR1000/1. This already have the CPU inside which can handle a simple custom application - so there is no need for external Attiny. You only need a stepper motor driver, maybe with STEP/DIR inputs. The module I'm talking about has also GPIO which can be used for control the stepper driver. How many pieces do you need ? I mean do you need some production afterwards ? I have some modules with this chip but I can not have more- there is not a "comercial" product - so if you only need 1-2 pieces I can help you. The modules have about 12/10/2 mm I can do the FW for this module, including BLE part, conenctivity and stepper control, and you'll be able to control the motor via BT with some 'service' we can design or use a standard one. Dear, Colleague My offer is to use BLE112 module, which will handle anything. It has embedded 8051 MCU. My bid include: * circuit design; * PCB design; * SW development support; Optionally i can provide sample assembly. At the end you will reciev: * circuit drawing; * all files needed to assebmle units; Optionally: Working samples; Risky points - power consumption by motors by them self. BR, Jurijs
