Hello Freelancers!
I am in need of some assistance because I am at my wits end. I have downloaded several animated GIF's from a website called 'Presenter Media' ([login to view URL]). I need to have them converted to Flash. They need to retain their transparent background and the animation speed needs to remain the same as the animated GIF and they need to loop endlessly.
I have tried and tried and just can't get these right. I was using Adobe Fireworks (trial version) with the help of a dude on a forum. He was able to do it, but I can't replicate his steps and have wasted enough of his time.
There are about 50 of these to convert. Basically, I will take the .swf files and import them into an eLearning course that does not support animated GIF's.
I have attached one of these to show you the type of thing I need. The files contains the original GIF, a SWF and FLA.
I have also included an extra GIF ( a sign holding onto a sign ) so you can do it and show me the results as an example. This will ensure that we are on the same page before I award the job.
This will show you what I need performed. I know it can be done quite easily if you have the right tools.
In brief, this is what I need -
- Take GIF file that already has a transparent background
- Convert to Flash and retain transparent background
- Has to loop forever
- Have new Flash file animate at the same speed or original GIF
- Forward to me the necessary files to use in my eLearning course
If you have any questions, drop me a note.
Happy Bidding! BTW, I need a Twitter Background, YouTube Background as well...let me know if you do this type of stuff. I have another job available for bid for some WordPress website work too. :)
Thanks!
-Dave

as far as i understand u need to convert GIFs to SWF with transparency
that can be done how ever it is a little tricky and depends on the way u want to use them coz it is related to the final publishing method see the example in PM
I understand that you need the files converted from GIF to SWF. I have done just that with the sample file you have provided, ConvertThis.gif. I can get this done in a few hours at most. The background is transparent, as you have requested. Please see the attached image and if you are happy with the quality, I would be more than glad to complete the project today
