Must be proficient in Adobe Indesign and Illustrator. Applicants must have an eye for detail, work quickly with Indesign, and be able to follow instructions. We will not pay for incomplete or poorly done work. Current job is resizing maps in Indesign. Icons, titles, landmarks etc need to be resized using existing map designs so that it displays better on the web. Its easy work, just a bit boring and time consuming. Maps must then be exported into PDFs, Cropped in photoshop and handed back to us. Old map Indesign files will be provided with an example of how the new layout needs to look. Example of what needs to be done is attached. Note before and after. Please quote hourly rate. Thanks!

You're right, this is boring work, but it must be done. I briefly worked for Delorme Maps doing this very thing. A short term job would be sustainable. I write and illustrate kids books - designed and drawn in illustrator and compiled into InDesign files before creating PDFs. Not sure why you want them cropped in Photoshop, but you're the boss. I will look forward to hearing from you.
