Hello, First of all I would recommend not using any off the shelf solution like WordPress or any pre-defined solution that you commonly find these days to create a Social Community based site , out of the box. It would severely limit the scalability of the website given that every predefined solution has its own limitations. Thus I'd recommend custom development using a PHP based MVC framework like Symfony 2 or CodeIgnitor.
