To start things off, let me first inform you that although I may not have years of experience behind me as others bidding on this project might, I have one thing that sets me apart - my level of dedication to the project. I've been known to work countless hours on a project just to make sure that it is perfect in every which way for the client. Plus, I don't mind revisions as revisions are the nature of this field and will continue to make as many revisions as necessary until the client is fully satisfied with my completed project.
There are a few websites I've worked on that are using the WordPress platform and then there are some that use the Wix platform that, I feel, are strong in HTML and CSS design practices and unlike WordPress, do not require constant maintenance and up-keep. However, based on the client's choice, I can work in either and create templates for either as well. My work outline is usually this:
1) Site Map - so that I know which sub-page will go under which main menu page. Once I have the skeleton of the site figured out, it's easier to start designing a wire frame.
2) Wire Frames - general idea of how each main and sub-page will look, where each object will go (images, text, menus, etc.) before it's fully designed.
3) Designing the template in In-Design or Dreamweaver to be sent to the client for a first look. In-Design is a much faster tool in creating templates and Dreamweaver would take longer since it relies heavily on code.
