Hi, I'm looking for help to build a Java-based software prototype which can log into a web site (like Amazon, or Facebook) on behalf of a user with a user's approval and download the web pages of purchase history and friends data, and then processes the downloaded data and extracts useful information and stores it in a text file or a database. I would require that the freelancer would keep smooth and consistent communication with me through the whole project on technical approach, scope of work, issues, progresses, questions. As the result of the project, the source code and two use cases of the project should be delivered (e.g., Amazon and Facebook). Thank you for your interest, Richard

Seems interesting, but you dont specify which exact pages are you going to download and crawl once the application logs in as the user. If im guessing are just product searches, its pretty standard, we can deliver it in about a week. We have previous experience with these kind of projects.
