We require someone with a good understanding of javascript to modify a peice of code we have installed on our home page.
The javascript is a peice of code that scrolls through an array of images. Each image is given its own unique URL href.
Currently the javascript code is inserted into the <head></head> tags of the page and the code is activated with a <script> new functionName() </script> call from within the body of the page at the point where the slideshow is to be displayed.
We would like to clean up the code so that it is stored in a seperate .js file and then simply referenced from the <head> tags with the usual <script src="./slideshow.js></script> and activated in some way from within the body of the html.
For an experienced java script programmer this should be an easy task and probably will only take 30 minutes or so.
The Javascript is from the following website:
and the code etc... can be easily seen on here as it is displayed for people to view.
Thanks
Andy
